Hi! We had such a wonderful stay and wanted to provide a review and some pictures.

We had the most wonderful birthday weekend at Writers Block! The house was absolutely adorable and well stocked in the kitchen. The rooms stayed dark so we could sleep in. The bed was so comfortable! We made the most wonderful meals, used the outdoor shower every chance we got, watched movies on the couch, and enjoyed the outdoor bath every night while watching the stars with a glass of wine. We went hiking nearby, played tennis in downtown Saluda and walked around in the shops, and also drove to Asheville for dinner one night. It was magical and we cannot wait to return!

BEAUTIFUL LOG CABIN IN THE WOODS

The log cabin was just as nice as shown in the photos prior to booking. We had no problems accessing the property which was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Nice touches like chocolates and wine were appreciated even though we don't drink. My kids loved the outdoor fire pit and eating the toasted marshmallows as the wood for the fire and even marshmallows were provided complimentary. It was a super nice get away and all my family enjoyed staying here. The only issue was the lengthy contract we were asked to sign via docusign after we had already booked it was a little much I thought. Overall I highly recommend this property we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Carolina Cabin

Perfect Place

We visited the area to see the leaves changing. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. We had everything we needed. The porch overlooking the lake was the perfect place to read. The beds were comfortable. This is a well stocked, very clean, and relaxing place to stay. The location is perfect for visiting the many surrounding towns. Great vacation spot.

Chapel Point Cove

Great Location & Easy to Find

Right off the Main Street area of Chimney Rock, steps to the entrance of the National Park. Perfect retreat for our group of ladies from Florida. The experience has been perfect from start to finish. The cabin is clean and up to date with modern finishes. 50-55 minutes to the Biltmore. 10 minutes to the lake. Huge beautiful creek near cabin with kayakers passing by. Look for the flashing light at the coffee shop and Harley Shop, take the little one lane bridge across the creek and follow the road down and look for the property on the right. Tucked back in the trees up a rock driveway. Walk to downtown shops and have lunch at Medinas!
